My PC runs on a ms.net 4.6 framework which is incompatible with the drivers for the printer I acquired recently HP smart tank 580. Are there drivers that can match the version of my PC?

Hi @Mochoge,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the HP Smart Tank 580, the drivers available from HP typically require a minimum of the .NET 4.7.2 framework, so unfortunately, they might not be directly compatible with .NET 4.6.

To address this, you have two main options:

Update .NET Framework: If possible, upgrading to .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher would allow you to use the latest drivers. You can download the .NET 4.7.2 or later version from the Microsoft website if your PC supports it.

Use Basic Driver Package: HP sometimes provides basic drivers that are lighter and may not rely on specific .NET versions. You can check the HP support page for your printer and look for a "Basic Driver" or "Print Driver Only" option.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
