Hi @Midnight1213,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Using the Printer Control Panel
- Access the Control Panel: On your printer control panel, press the "Home" button (typically represented by a home icon).
- Navigate to Settings: Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the "Setup" or "Einstellungen" menu. It may have a gear icon next to it.
- Select Preferences: Within the setup menu, find and select "Preferences" or "Voreinstellungen."
- Change Language: Look for "Language" or "Sprache" and select it.
- Choose English: From the list of languages, select "English."
During Initial Setup
- If you are in the midst of setting up your printer and it's stuck in German, you can usually change the language within the setup process. Look for a language selection option at the beginning of the setup.
Using the Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS)
- Access the EWS by typing the printer's IP address into your web browser.
- Navigate to the settings or preferences section, where you should find the option to change the language from German to English.
I hope this helps.
