RE: HP DeskJet Plus 4155
After I install and launch HP Smart software, a page opens that says, "Welcome to HP Smart! By continuing , you agree to terms of use, etc."
Below the text is an endless spinning circle. There's no tab that says "I agree" or "Continue." The rest of the page is just blank.

Hi @dartmouthman,
I'd like to help!
Try the below suggestions-
1)Uninstall HP Smart
2)Install all the available Windows updates
If it is been a while since you updated your Windows, that is the main reason why Windows says your HP printer driver is unavailable. Here are the steps how to do a Windows Update to install all accessible operating system update.
If you are accessing Windows 10, then these steps are for you.
- Hit the Start menu and write an update. After that, click on the “Check for updates” option.
- Tap on the “Check for updates” option.
- After clicking on that option, Windows will install the updates automatically.
- When Windows completes all its updates, start your computer again and attempt to print a file to check if your printer works.
3) try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
4)Reinstall HP Smart
If the error persists, install the HP Easy Start (under the Software and Utility tab )and use HP Scan to scan a document
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks, Jay. You wrote:

I don't know what 'write an update' means. How do I do that?

In the start menu, search bar type update to find the check for updates option.

When I scan a 3-page document into my HP DeskJet Plus 4155, and try to save it to a file on my PC, I get 3 files, each with one page, instead of a single 3-page file. How can I save multi-page docs into a single file? Thanks.
