HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M630f

Hello,

I'd like to use my printer to print some PDF files from an USB.

The user guide says: "From the Home screen on the product control panel, scroll to and touch the Administration button." And here comes the problem, because I can't find any such button there!

What's wrong with this? Is this too an option that must be enabled?

I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you.

You need to enter the printer's menu and scroll down to Administration submenu to enable print from USB.

If not there it might be hidden by the admin. personnel.

Thank you for your reply and time,

Please could you explain to me what you mean by "hidden by the admin personnel". This is a second-hand printer. What options have I got to make the option appear in my home screen?

Thank you for your patience.

It's possible for the administrator to hide some submenus so the printer users can't make changes or access some printer settings. If you don't have an admin password for that printer you can run a cold reset that will clear the password and return the printer's settings to the factory, making all menus accessible. Instructions on how to cold reset the printer you can find on google, if this is a 2nd hand printer you got a cold reset is recommended.
