Can't set up printer as can't find IP address

Trying to install and set up new printer. Have downloaded app on  softwphone andare on laptop but cannot connect to it as can't find IP address - help please

Answer

If the printer is on the network,

From the printer control panel, press the Wireless button and the Information button together to print the network configuration page.

For Windows (Select "Choose a different OS" to change Operating System / version)

Open Category Software, Drivers and Firmware

Open page HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software

Download-save the software installation package.

Open the folder in which you saved the downloaded file (likely Downloads folder)

Double-tap the package to start the installation.

When asked in the setup, select to install the "Full Driver" / "Full Feature Software"

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in
