DeskJet Plus 4120

I bought a DeskJet Plus 4120 a few days ago

I have had a lot of issues with it and with HP smart

I am connecting it with a USB, since I don't have WiFi at my house

HP Smart doesn't detect it, but my pc does. Once it did Detect it and I set it up, and worked fine for a day, but the day after it disappeared.

Today I redid the whole setup, deleted the printer from my pc, deleted HP Smart and all the drivers.

When I re-installed everything, The printer again worked for a day, but now I can't scan, can't print, and the printer goes online and offline all the time.

When I try to scan, it says it is connecting to the cloud services, which I don't understand why since it's connected by USB.

Would really appreciate any help.
