Hi @ronaldward ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to reset your HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e to factory settings and wipe all settings, follow these steps:

Method 1: Reset to Factory Defaults Using Printer Control Panel

Locate the Settings Menu:

  • Even though the language is in Arabic, you can navigate by icon recognition. Look for the gear icon (Settings) on the printer's control panel.

Access Printer Maintenance:

  • Select the gear icon and then navigate to the Restore Defaults option. In Arabic, this may appear near the end of the menu.

Confirm Reset:

  • Choose the reset option and confirm your choice. This will reset all settings, including language preferences.

Select Language After Reset:

  • After the reset, the printer should prompt you to select a language. Use the arrow keys to find English and confirm.

Method 2: Hard Reset

Turn Off the Printer:

  • Press the power button to turn off the printer.

Disconnect Power Cable:

  • Unplug the power cable from the printer and the wall outlet.

Wait:

  • Leave the printer unplugged for at least 60 seconds.

Reconnect and Turn On:

  • Reconnect the power cable and turn on the printer. It might prompt you to select language preferences.

Method 3: Reset via Embedded Web Server (EWS)

If the above methods don’t work and the printer is connected to a network, you can reset it via the Embedded Web Server:

Find the Printer’s IP Address:

  • Print a network configuration page (usually via the settings menu). Look for the IP address under the wireless or network section.

Access the EWS:

  • Open a web browser on your computer, type the printer’s IP address into the address bar, and press Enter.

Log In as Administrator:

  • If prompted, log in using the administrator credentials. If you don’t know the credentials, try using the default ones (e.g., "admin" for username and leave the password blank).

Restore Factory Settings:

  • Navigate to the System or Settings tab in the EWS and look for an option to restore factory settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
