Hi @Loretta43,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2700 All-in-One Printer series can make copies but is unable to print, here are some steps you can follow to diagnose and resolve the issue:

  1. Check Printer Connectivity:
    • Ensure the printer is properly connected to your network or computer. If it's connected wirelessly, ensure the connection is stable, and the printer is within range of the router.
    • If using a USB connection, verify that the cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.

  2. Restart the Devices:
    • Restart your printer and computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve communication issues between your devices.

  3. Check Print Queue for Errors:
    • Open the print queue on your computer by clicking on the printer icon in your system tray or through your computer's device settings.
    • If there are stuck or errored print jobs, cancel or delete them and try printing again.

  4. Update Printer Drivers & Firmware:
  5. Reinstall the Printer:
    • Remove the printer from your computer's list of devices and add it again using the "Add a printer" feature. This can refresh the settings and resolve issues related to device recognition.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
