Hi @Tami411,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Reset Network Settings:

  • Perform a network settings reset on your printer. This process can sometimes restore default settings, which may include any necessary passwords or prompts to re-enter them.
  • To reset network settings, refer to the user manual for specific steps, as they can vary slightly between models.

Print a Network Configuration Page:

  • Try printing a network configuration page to obtain network-related information such as IP addresses and network status.
  • This is usually done by pressing and holding one of the buttons on the printer (often the "Information" button or "Wi-Fi Direct" button). Check your printer's user guide for exact details.

Check HP Smart App or Printer Software:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your device, and try to configure the printer through it. This might help you obtain the printer setup information.
  • Alternatively, use the HP Printer Assistant software (if available) on a connected computer to find more details.

Connect via USB:

  • If wireless setup information is not accessible, try connecting your printer to a computer via USB cable temporarily. This can sometimes allow you to change settings more directly.

Factory Reset:

  • As a last resort, perform a factory reset on your printer to restore all settings to their defaults. This might help in clearing any previously set network configurations.
  • Follow the specific instructions for your model in the user guide or HP's support website.

I hope this helps.
