Cartridge Problem

HP Recommended
iOS

Hi there -

I am having issues with new ink cartridges that have never been used. My printer is the HP OfficeJet 6958. I inserted the 3 colored inks as well as the black ink. Only the magenta ink is registering. The other ink levels are not even showing up in my system even though they have never been used.

Whenever I try to print, a message pops up that reads, " Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is completely inserted."

This is extremely irritating considering I have taken out each cartridge countless times and then reinserted. They all insert just fine and click in and everything. Not sure what to do since none of the cartridges have been used.

Someone, please help me.

Thank you in advance.

@lkmassey, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
