I originally had instant ink in France. When I moved to Australia, it was impossible to change the country. I even contacted HP in France to cancel my account which they said they did, but I still can't use the same email address two years later, as it says an account already exists with that email, and when I login it redirects me to the French HP page.
As much as I would have preferred the same email for the billing, I've decided to set up an account with a new email. Now I have a new problem! I can't log out of the HP Smart app with my old account! I'm getting very frustrated with this.
In this day and age, moving country shouldn't be so difficult to change in an app. I've had to change my country through many other apps with no issue. This is the only app when it seems impossible!
Please let me know if there is anything else to try before I give up completely on having instant ink.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you are looking for help with moving your instant ink account to another country.
Instant Ink accounts are linked to the country/region of your HP account.
- To change the country/region for a printer in Instant Ink, add the printer to a different HP account that is in the desired country/region.
- Cancel the original Instant Ink account to prevent continued billing. Enrolling the printer in a new account does not automatically delete the old account.
- HP Instant Ink Platinum: The service is only available within the continental United States. If you move out of the service area, your subscription is cancelled and you may be charged an early cancellation fee.

Refer to this link to re-enroll in instant ink for the new country once again using a new email ID as the previous email ID used will not work to change the region.

Hello,
Thank you for your response but as mentioned in my original post, I already set up a new account.
The issue is that I cannot log out of the HP smart app on my phone from my old account. This means I cannot log into my new account, therefore I cannot use instant ink.
Also when I log into my new account on the computer, it is redirecting me to the old account and the French website.

Hi, as mentioned in my two previous messages, I have already re-enrolled with a different email address.
The issue is that I can’t log out of my original account on the HP Instant Ink app.
Because of this, I can’t log in with my new account, therefore I am unable to use instant ink.
This issue has not been resolved but I have now given up and bought ink without the subscription. Unfortunately I am unable to use instant ink. Very frustrating.

I am sorry to hear that the above steps did not help much but i do appreciate your efforts in performing the troubleshooting steps.
As you have already enrolled in instant ink service with a new email ID but you are not able to login to the application.
Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.
1) Uninstall the HP smart app by click on this link, Restart the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions.
2) Refer to this link to use the HP smart app on your phone/tablet/PC to add a printer with the new email ID enrolled.
