HP Office Jet 3830 Series - 3831
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought an office jet 3830 series in the UK and traveled back to India with HP 302 ink cartridges. I know for a fact that HP ink cartridges in India will be incompatible unless printer regionalization is done.

 

I have tried to get HP help from the India HP support local team, but none of them seem to be confident about the steps/process.

 

Any help here will be highly appreciated. Please note, I have both HP 302 (UK) and HP 803 (India compatible) catridges.

Welcome to HP Support Community! 

  

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
