Hello,

 

Every time I send more than 1 document to my printer, it will print the first document but it will get stuck and continue to say 'printing' in the status bar even after it has printed.

I then have to manually delete the first print job and it takes around 30 minutes for the next document to print. 

This happens every time I need to print more than 1 document and I have no idea how to stop it.

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I think you need to remove the queue. For Windows, please try:


  Hold down the Windows key and press R.
  From the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.
  If the machine asks for Admin you have to accept this,
  Look down to the print spooler service, right click it and select properties
  Click on the Stop button,
  Browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers or C:\Windows\System\Spool\printers (this may be hidden)
  Delete the job inside this folder
  Reboot the machine

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I've just done as you suggested but the folder is already empty so there was nothing to delete. 

I'm really lost as to why this keeps happening but thank you for trying to help me find a solution.
