As of the latest updates, the HP LaserJet Pro P1108 Printer does not have a specific driver available for the MacBook Air with the M3 chip from 2024. However, you can try the following solutions:
Use HP Smart App
- Download and Install HP Smart from the Mac App Store:
- Open the App Store on your MacBook Air.
- Search for "HP Smart" and download the application.
- Follow the instructions to add your HP LaserJet Pro P1108 Printer.
Use Built-in Drivers
- Use Built-in MacOS Drivers:
- macOS often has generic drivers for many printer models.
- Connect your HP LaserJet Pro P1108 Printer to your MacBook Air.
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + icon to add a printer and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If macOS automatically recognizes the printer, it will install the appropriate drivers.
Download Universal Print Driver
- Download Universal Print Driver:
- Visit HP's official website and search for "Universal Print Driver."
- Download the Universal Print Driver for Mac.
- Install the driver and add your printer through System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
