I have forgotten my user name and password to the EWS for my OfficeJet Pro 7740. I have used the Restore Network Setting on the printer's display panel where it specifically states the administrator password for the EWS will be reset. All network settings are restored, except the EWS password. I also completely removed the printer from my Mac in System Preferences and attempt to setup the printer as if it were new. The setup process goes smooth but then I'm asked for custom user name and password to the EWS. What am I missing?

HI
I have a problem with a pwd on my 7740! I don't remember to do so. please help me to reset the pwd like a factory reset.
My OS is HighSierra. but I have problem to print also with a PC
I noted that this problem is connected with a in-FAX the march,4 2020 compared to a new password request during any print from my computer.
