macOS 10.15 Catalina

Scan to computer has stopped working since updating my OS to Catalina.  It worked when I used OSX.  Is there going to be a patch or update for this?  

Yes.  My printer is connected to the same network as my computer.

Yes.  I can print.

Yes.  I have tried to uninstall HP Smart and reinstall from the app store.

Yes.  I have reset my network settings on the printer.

Yes.  I have reset my printing system in preferences.

Yes. I have uninstalled my printer and reinstalled it.

 

Now.  With that information is there a solution?

Hi,
Follow HP Easy Start below to download the latest HP Essential Software and HP Easy Scan for your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Additionally, ensure your drivers are up to date by clicking the Apple icon, select About this Mac and then press Software Update.
If any updates are available click Update Now to make sure the latest OS updates are installed, this is crucial for HP Easy Scan to work as expected.
