Hp jetdirect was not installed on my printer but network port has provided. How can I connect my printer to my desktop using ethernet cable.

I tried many ways 123.hp.com and followed somany steps but no use.

please help me to connect my printer to my desktop using ethernet cable. by using USB cable it is working.

No, you can't connect normal LAN cable directly from your printer to your computer. If you wish to connect direct, please use USB cable.
