Hi @Sasha5113-1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that you would like to perform a factory reset on your HP DeskJet 4155 printer, I would request you to please follow the steps:

Power On the Printer: Ensure that your printer is powered on.

Disconnect the Power: While your printer is on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.

Wait: Wait for about 60 seconds to ensure the printer is fully powered off and reset.

Reconnect the Power: Plug the power cord back into the printer.

Restart the Printer: Turn on the printer if it does not turn on automatically. At this point, your printer should be reset to factory default settings.

Firmware Update

Once you have reset your printer, you should check for any available firmware updates.

Firmware updates can be essential for improving compatibility with systems like macOS. Here's how you can do it:

Go to the HP Support Website: Visit HP Software & Driver Downloads.

Enter Printer Details: Enter your printer’s model number (HP DeskJet 4155) and select the appropriate operating system (e.g., macOS 26 or the latest macOS version available).

Download and Install: If a firmware update is available, download and install it by following the on-screen instructions.

By resetting the printer and updating the firmware, you should be able to improve your printer’s compatibility with macOS 26.

Take care and have an amazing day!
