HP DeskJet 2720 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP DeskJet 2720 All-in-One Printer. Had print problem and used Print Doctor, got a message saying wrong port assigned, after printer has worked fine for 7 months) and that it had changed port. Now printer just will not print from laptop. I can print from mobile phone, I can print by sending direct email to printer, but everything I try and print from laptop top shows an error message on spooler. I have followed all the online suggestion including restart spooler . I did start a WhatsApp conversation yesterday but had to break off, they said just message when you wish to restrt. Having messageged three times yesterday and today and getting no response on WhatsApp now.   When I go to HP website I get a pop up message saying there is an important security update with a link to download and install but clicking it does nothing at all.     Would be grateful for any suggestions how to proceed - either to correct or to get WhatsApp communication working again.
