Keep getting Finish set up on screen of Printer

It seems like your HP OfficeJet 8015e printer is stuck on the "Finish Setup" screen, which can certainly be frustrating when you’re trying to get things done. Let’s go through a few steps that should help resolve this issue:

 

Verify Network Connection

On the printer’s screen, check the Wi-Fi icon. If it’s not showing as connected, you may need to reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network. Navigate to the Wireless or Network Settings and follow the prompts to reconnect to your network.

 

Restart the Printer

A simple restart can often resolve setup issues. Power off the printer, unplug it for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help clear any temporary glitches that may be causing the message to persist.

 

Complete Setup Using HP App

Download the HP App.

Open the app and follow the on-screen prompts to finish the setup process, which might bypass the "Finish Setup" screen on the printer.
