Hi @An8-el,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 6100e Series printer has accidentally switched to French during setup, you can follow these steps to change the language back to English:

Access the Control Panel:

  • From the Home screen on the printer's control panel, tap and swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard.

Open the Settings Menu:

  • Look for an icon that resembles a gear or similar settings icon and select it. This is typically marked as "Paramètres" in French.

Navigate to Language Settings:

  • Within the settings, find the "Préférences" or similarly named menu, which usually includes language settings.

Select Language:

  • In the language settings menu, look for "Langue" or "Language". Select it to open the list of available languages.

Change to English:

  • Scroll through the list to find "English", select it, and confirm your selection.

Confirm the Change:

  • You may be prompted to confirm the language change. Choose "Oui" (Yes) or "OK" to apply the changes.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
