HP 4630 Doctor states everything is OK, will not run test scan

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can print and scan if I use the browser. Printing works for MS applications. However the HP Scanning application will not run. The system will not run setup over the wireless connection.

The doctor says everything is good. It won't run a test scan because the sofrware can't find the printer. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Windows is fully up to date and so are all HP drivers.

Try the below steps..

  1. Uninstall the printer software.
  2. Restart the pc.
  3. Check for Windows update and install if any.
  4. Restart the pc
  5. Now download the printer software and install it.
  6. Try scanning, it should work.
  7. If issue still persists try scanning using Scan and capture app.
