HP OfficeJet Pro 8710
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Running Windows 10 on a Dell XPS desktop PC.

Have a HP 8710 printer that had been working fine.  Went out of town a week ago and upon return, the printer does not work.

1.  Have unplugged all cords and waited 5 minutes to replugged them in.

2.  Have deleted driver and reinstalled.

3.  Have run HP Print and Scan Doctor.  No help.

4.  When power off, stuck in power down mode.  Never powers off.

5.  When I add the printer, it adds it as a "(Copy1)" printer.  There is one there That I doo not see in windows Printers and scanners settings but I see in HP Print and scan doctor called "HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 (NET)".  It adds a new printer called HP78CA35 (HPOfficeJet Pro8710).  When I add it it says, "Driver is unavailable".

6.  Unplugged Ethernet connection and added as a wireless device.  Does not work.

7.  Tried to copy a a page from scanned bed.  On display, did not work.  hit cancel on screen.  Now screen displaying spinning circle and "Copying cancelled" is displayed and stuck.

FRUSTRATED AS HELL IN CHARLOTTE!
