HP ENVY 6030
macOS 10.15 Catalina

hello,

on a WPA2 WIFI secured network we need to login with USERID/PASSWORD combination in order to get access to the WIFI/internet from the apple mac ... now trying to connect a HP ENVY 6030 to the same WIFI (as HP instant ink agreement adn contract is in place) .... I only get the possibility to enter the WPA2/WIFI password with the initial setup for the HP ENVY 6030 printer within the HP smart app running on the apple mac .... but I need to be able to enter the userid as well I guess from within the HP Smart app interface .... so wifi connection to the HP envy 6030 does not seem to work or am I missing something ? be aware that a HP instant ink agreement/contract is in place where HP takes the full control of the printer across the internet for the pages being printed .... thanks for your help [Personal Information Removed]

Hi @Tvern,

I'd like to help!

If the computer is connected to network , the Smart app would only request for the network password to connect the printer.

You may refer to -HP printer setup (wireless network)

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
