Hi, I have encountered a new problem with my HP printer. For about a week now it has been listed as driver unavailable, please see screenshot below. I have uninstalled the printer, completely removed the driver package, redownloaded the HP smart software and attempted to reinstall the printer but come back to this issue each time. I have other computers in the house that see the printer fine and print correctly and the printer has the latest firmware installed.

 

Any advice on what to try next would be great please

Hi,

Please ensure your operating system is fully up to date and then check if you may see any difference.

 

Be sure to repeat checking for updates till the check returns that no further updates are available:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027667/windows-10-update

 

Once done, try reinstalling the HP Smart app and check for any difference.
