Are you getting any error message while updating firmware?

How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?

 

Meanwhile:- 

Refer this HP document for the steps to update the printer firmware:- Click here

 

Or, click here to download and install the latest firmware for your printer.

(Note:- Connect the printer using USB cable while updating printer firmware)
