HP Envy 6200

Hi,  I bought an HP Envy Photo 6200 when I was living in Sydney Australia.  It used the 804 ink cartridges and worked perfectly.  I then, for work, had to relocate to Kuala Lumpur.  Of course the cartridges are different and it needs the 67 ink.  I spent 2 days with HP support telling me that relocating country is not allowed and I have to buy a new printer.  I later found out that I can change the region so that it will accept the 67 cartridges.  However, HP Support refuse to tell me how to change the region.

 

Is anyone able to help me change the region from Australia to Malaysia?

I'd like to help!

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Hello, I have the same problem. I moved my envy 6220 from Hkg to Dxb and am unable to change the region to use the locally available cartridge for this printer. Please send me the reset instruction to change the region.
