HP Envy Photo 7134
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been given a brand new HP Envy Photo 7134.  The printer has never been used, but the set up cartridges have been lost.

I have purchased new cartridges form HP, but cannot pass the requirement to use Setup Cartridges when setting up the printer.

I understand that there may be a workaround that resets the printer to allow it to accept the standard cartridges purchased.

Many thanks in advance,

Martin

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand you are receiving a "use setup cartridges" error. We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
