HP inkjet 1515

I purchased HP inkjet printer 1515 from UAE that came with HP650 cartridge.

Now i brought it to India and went to HP store for cartridge. I was recommended to use HP678 that is compatible with HP 1515 printer.

But when I installed the HP 678 black cartridge the light blinks indicating the cartridge is not compatible or not working.

As i understand from other posts, it seems a regional reset is required for resolving this issue. Request someone to kindly help as i already bought the new cartridge HP678 and unpacked. Moreover the printer is brand new condition so i want to make use of it

@RVKndy, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Hi Kumar,

I have the same issue. I need the reset code for using 678 cartridge in my 1515 printer. Should I send the copy to clipboard values using old cartridges 650 or the new region cartridge which I want to use now, which is 678.

Br,
