HP Recommended

My Laserjet Pro 100 MFP won't scan. Printing is fine. It is connected wirelessly. I have never succeeded in getting the scanner to work.
I believe I've found what may be the problem.
Print & Scan Doctor find the device but provides different IP addresses for the *printer* and the *scanner*. The scanner's IP address is in the 169.254 range meaning it's not getting an address from the DHCP server.
Where can I change this or is the scanner faulty?
