Resolve Windows 10 related issues for your HP computers or printers by HP Windows 10 Support Center
This problem has happened with no changes to the desktop the printer is usually connected to.
The printer prints top 40mm and bottom 40mm of an a4 paper when printing images.
it prints text as it should no problems.
when i connect my laptop via same usb lead it prints a perfect image as it should.
i know there must be a fault in communication from desktop to LaserJet but i don't know why or where.
any help much appreciated.

Follow the below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:
Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Install the printer using the TCP/IP port:
If the issue persists, Install the printer using Windows built-in driver
