Hi have my printer connected to several different laptops. I have one laptop that always print Black & White. Never prints in colour. I already uninstall the Printer, the correspondent drivers, the HP smart application, cleaned all registry entries, etc.

Restart the laptop, installed the printer and the same result. From this laptop the printer always print Black & White.

This Laptop with other printers work normally.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.  

  • Are you able to make copies from the printer?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Dear Echo_Lake,

 

The Printer now stop working completely as is permanently offline for all Desktops and laptops.

 

I always can re-install thru windows settings but the HP App always says printer offline - choose another printer to install.

 

I will contact HP Service next Sunday.

Thank you for posting back.

 

To restore the printer to the original network settings

  • 1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
  • 2. Touch Network Setup.
  • 3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.
  • 4. Touch Yes.
  • 5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.
