Hi @Martinsen12,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP OfficeJet 4654 printer. To help you troubleshoot the problem, here are a few steps you can try.

  • Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and see if the issue persists.
  • Check for Error Messages: If there is an error message displayed on the printer's control panel or your computer, take note of the specific error code or message. This information can help in identifying the problem.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or incompatible printer drivers can cause issues. Visit the HP support website (https://support.hp.com) and search for your printer model. Download and install the latest drivers available for your operating system.
  • Clear Paper Jams: Check for any paper jams inside the printer. Remove any jammed paper carefully, following the printer's manual instructions. Ensure there are no small bits of paper left behind that could cause further issues.
  • Check Ink Cartridges: Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Replace any empty cartridges or those that are low on ink.
  • Reset the Printer: Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset. Resetting the printer can help resolve various issues and restore it to its default settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
