HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 error on Boot up

The HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 displays the following message upon booting. "There is a problem with one of your printer's critical system files. A printer update will be installed to fix this problem." It hangs at this message and nothing happens.
Even if I do a semi-reset to Home Back Home Home, it doesn't work.
