Officejet 6978
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new HP Officejet 6978 on a Windows 10 (64-bit) OS.  Duplex printing is working, however despite setting it to flip on the long edge, it will only flip on the short edge.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.  The firmware is up to date.  Any suggestions?  Otherwise, I will have to return the product unfortunately.  Thanks for your help!

I finally solved my own problem!  I hope this helps others with the same issue with duplex printing.

Initially I had installed the printer software package via the full software package option.  Under Device Settings for the printer, there was no option listed for Duplex Printing and the "Installed" setting.  I decided to just install the BASIC driver package, and now the Duplex Printing option is there with "Installed" in the Device Settings, and selecting to print with "flip over" makes the duplex printing work correctly.  Hope this helps!
