HP Officejet Pro 8100
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Unfortunately I had to reset my wireless password....now I need to do the same with my printer so that I can print from my Ipad, phone, etc.    I have tried everything to find where I can do this - deleted the print driver, re-added it, etc...the only way I can print is if I have a cord going from my HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 to the computer and then I can only print from that computer.  I tried to figure out how to hook it up wirelessly again but no luck. I don't have any of the original disks or packaging...I got to one area of add a wirless printer but it wanted some WPS number or something like that from my printer which I searched the printers back and didn't see anythign like that.....  help???  Do I seriously have to go buy a new printer...that is about where I'm at now.

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Let's try re-configuring the printer wireless settings, here is how to do it:

1.) Press and hold (Wireless) button and (Cancel) button for 5 seconds.(This step will reset the printer network settings.

2.) Connect printer to PC using USB cable.

3.) Search Windows for the name of your printer, and then click your printer in the list of results. HP Printer Assistant opens.

4.) Click Tools, and then click Device Setup & Software. A Device Setup & Software window opens

5.) Click Convert a USB connected printer to wireless, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Let me know how it goes!
