Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older

So our HP PageWide XL 5200 is connected to our network and in general does work. We use a Windows Server as our printer server. We're using a HPGL2 driver. When a user tries to print from CAD or Adobe (generated from CAD) the amount of time to buffer the job can take longer and longer depending on the amount of pages. I get on a basic lever this is normal but it seems like an hour to print 29 pages is alittle excessive when our old PCL3 driver was getting them our much faster. If HP doesn't have a PCL3 we use the HPGL2 driver which is when this new issue started.
