Product: HP Photosmart C4180 All In One
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Purchased new computer.  Cannot find a driver for this printer.  Tried manual and used the C3100 as C4100 was not available.  Printing seems to work but not scanning, etc.

@Scram81, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are looking for a driver for the printer. Due to the age of this printer, the driver is not available on the HP Support site.

You may use the built-in driver on windows to print, but to scan use the HP Scan and Capture app from the Microsoft Store.

I have tried the scan and capture app but it doesn't find the printer.

In that case, there are no other apps that can be used to scan as the printer driver is not available. This model printer is not compatible with the HP Smart app.

 

If you want the scan feature, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
