Product: HP DeskJet 2600 series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Print and Scan Doctor Service may cause Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator unable to work (Error Code: 8004E00F) .

 

To solve this problem, you should fully disable the service. You can follow the instruction in this post: Solved: Re: Dell Power Manager update Error 1720 - Dell Community .

 

Please note that this service may not only cause failures of installing and uninstalling Dell Power Manager, but also failures of other drivers and system components, and may cause potential system crashes.

 

All in all, HP really made some terrible software.
