I have a Lenovo Laptop and I have correctly connected the HP Envy 6531e Printer. However I have been unsuccesfful in connecting the Scanner. I have tried the downloads and installs without success.

Check Windows Scanner Settings
- Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers → Right-click your HP Envy 6531e → Start Scan.
- If this works, the issue might be with HP Smart or another scanning app.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
- HP has a diagnostic tool that can detect and fix scanning issues. You can download it here.
Uninstall and Reinstall HP Drivers
- Go to Add or Remove Programs in Windows and uninstall all HP-related software.
- Restart your laptop and reinstall the latest drivers from HP’s official site.
Check Windows Services
- Open Services (search for it in Windows).
