The Field showing the selectable options/settinhs is to small or dhe font of theh selected value to big. One sees only the top half of the text, e.g. under Scannen field title "Resolution" is okay, but field content "300 dpi" shows only the top part "300 dpi"

Hi @EJ1259 ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're experiencing a display issue with the HP Smart App on Windows 11, where the field showing selectable options/settings is too small or the font of the selected value is too big. This can be frustrating, but there are a few steps you can try to address this problem:
Check for Updates: Ensure that your HP Smart App is up to date. Sometimes, software updates include fixes for display issues. Visit the Microsoft Store, search for the HP Smart App, and check for any available updates.
Adjust Display Settings: Windows 11 allows you to adjust the display settings. Right-click on the desktop, select "Display settings," and try adjusting the scale and layout settings. You can change the size of text, apps, and other items to see if it improves the display within the HP Smart App.
Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the HP Smart App shortcut or executable file, go to "Properties," and navigate to the "Compatibility" tab. Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for," and select a previous Windows version (e.g., Windows 10). Apply the changes and see if it resolves the display issue.
Windows 11 Updates: Ensure that your Windows 11 operating system is fully updated. Microsoft regularly releases updates that may include fixes for compatibility and display issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to check for and install any available updates.
Custom DPI Settings: In the "Display settings" on Windows 11, there is an option for "Advanced display settings." Here, you can try adjusting the custom scaling settings to see if it helps with the display within the HP Smart App.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-

True -- and it's been that way for a while (perhaps a long while).
The text is placed lower in this text box than are the other text entries in their boxes.
It appears to be an error in placement of the element in the container.
Yeah, it does look kind of "sloppy", I guess.
The drop-down menu works and displays the correct choices -- so there's that.
In my opinion, there is no reasonable fix from "our" side -- someone needs to fix the container graphics.
