HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer

The issue is within the HP Smart App... NOT my HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 nor my PC!

My issue randomly appeared a couple months ago and has yet to be resolved. Anything that is scanned will appear as being slightly blurry within the HP Smart App. However, if the content is printed or saved as .jpeg/.pdf it looks great... outside of the HP Smart App!!!

I have updated/uninstalled/re-installed the HP Smart App, Drivers and even my PC many times but have been unable to resolve the issue.

Below is an example: I scanned a paper as a document and it appeared blurry within the HP Smart App. I saved the scan as a PDF file and when I opened the quality is normal.

Hi,

Let's try right-clicking your desktop and select Display Settings.

Ensure the text scalling is set as 100%, I would not be surprised if an higher scaling setting might be the cause:

Please let me know if that may help,

@ShlomiL, I am using Windows 11 so the "Scale and Layout" settings are setup a little different however everything was set to default with the "Text Size" set at 100%.... Surprise!!! Hahaha. Just for passing time I changed "Custom Scaling", "Text Size", "Resolution" and more. I even uninstalled and re-installed multiple display drivers and used a variety of monitors. I appreciate your response but the issue was not resolved and it took some tinkering to get all my changes back to normal. I could be mistaken but I am still insisting that the problem is only within the application/program, HP Smart.
