My HP Laser Jet Pro is no longer under warrantee but has been working fine on a home wireless network for years.
About 1-2 months ago I noticed the colour option in the HP Smart App on my desktop no longer had a colour choice but the app on my iPad and iPhone does still print in colour.
I don’t use HP cartridges but that hasn’t been an issue before. I know HP are keen for customers to use HP cartridges but I can’t see why they would block the colour choice on one device (Dell Desktop) and not another (iPhone/iPad)
Does anyone know why the HP Smart App would work on two apple devices but not, apparently, on a Dell Desktop.
i have tried deleting the app on the desktop and reinstalling it but to no effect.
For any helpful advice or novel thoughts or prior experience I would be grateful.
