Hi!


I need to sign in to HP Smart in order to use the scanner.

However, the app wouldn't open the sign-in page, it gets stuck on "Connecting to a service step". Here's the screenshot:

The HP Smart version is 122.3.838.0 (the latest available in Microsoft Store, freshly reinstalled).

Anyone come across this problem?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to login to HP Smart App.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you wait for some time and then try logging in again. If you continue facing the issue, then remove the app from the computer and install it again from the Microsoft store.

Installed the HP Smart app on my iPhone -- sign-in and the printer functions (printing, scanning etc) work.

But I need to use the printer from my Windows machine, and I still can't sign in from there.

I recommend you contact support to further diagnose the issue.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
