When i try to print from HP Smart i get a pop up saying the printer is not installed. So i click "Install", the procedure takes a couple of minutes and at the end i get another pop-up saying that the printer was installed.
At this point i try to print but i get again the "printer is not installed" pop up, and this goes on foverer.
From the printer status page (in HP Smart) it says it's not installed but the printer works from any other application (from a pdf, from the browser, even from mobile)
I tried to remove and add again the printer. Turn off and on, i used the HP Print and Scan Doctor that reported no problems.
The printer can print from anywhere except from HP Smart.
What should i do?

Recommend to Reset the Printer Wireless and try the FULL software (or HP Smart) if preferred.

The recommended software in the post above can't even find the printer. HP Smart at least sees the printer but thinks it's not installed.
How is it possible HP software doesn't recognize HP hardware?
I will continue using the regular Windows print button and skip HP Smart (or Easy Start, that is even worse apparently).

i did a network reset and then using the full application (called HP Easy Start on my machine) i was finally able to "complete" the installation. Now HP Smart also reports the printer as installed and i can print from HP Smart.
