HP UPD (6.3 & 6.5)/DNS Queries.

HP Recommended
Laserjet P3015
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Having a bit of a strange issue with a HP printer on a Windows 8.1 laptop, I'm getting a lot of DNS entries for and NPI6764FB.lan which is being picked up and blocked by OpenDNS.  It's not causing any problems for the laptop user just causing a lot of log files to be generated.  I assume the entry is being generated by some sort of discovery protocol.

The printer is assigned a static IP and UPD  is configured to use the static IP so not sure why DNS would come in to play and it's specific to this laptop I'm not seeing it on anything else.  I've tried v6.3 of UPD which is what I have in general use across the network at the moment and UPD v6.5 which is the latest, both exibit the same behavier.

If this is some sort of discovery protocol or some other function built into the UPD driver does anyone know if it's possible to disable it?

Thanks in advance.
