HP installation process (using HP easy start) can not be completed, it fails in the "Nework Device Installation" step. Printer is found and recognized, but when selecting a wireless connection installlation can not be completed.
I have uninstalled all HP and deleted files ( as described https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Software-and-Drivers/Drivers-Software-does-not-install/m-p/591...), and reinstalled again (HP easystart) but still could not completed installation.
Only Fax was added to the prinetrs list on my PC.
My android smartphone prints just fine.
BTW, problem occured after trying to fix frequent offline status.
Appreciate any help.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4670 Printer. I understand that you are unable to install the printer.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
- When did this issue start?
- Did you do any hardware or software changes?
- How is the printer connected to computer, wired or wireless?
Meanwhile
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor
HP provides a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to quickly and automatically perform several troubleshooting tasks known to resolve this issue. When this link is clicked, HP Print and Scan Doctor is downloaded using your Internet browser's download capabilities.
After HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start on the Welcome screen.
If your printer is not listed, make sure the printer is turned on and connected, click My product is not listed, and then click Retry.
Select your printer, and then click Next.
Figure : Select your printer
If a connection problem is detected, click the method being used to connect the printer, follow the instructions on the screen, and then click Retry.
Temporarily disable firewall software on the computer
Return to the Print and Scan Doctor window, and then click Network.
Figure : Click Network in the HP Print and Scan Doctor window
In the drop-down menu, click Troubleshooting Firewalls.
Figure : Click Troubleshoot Firewalls in the drop-down menu
Click the name of any firewall software on your system that has an Enabled status, and then click Disable.
Figure : Example of the Troubleshooting Firewalls window
Try installing the HP driver and software again.
Uninstall the HP driver and software
If your printer connects to the computer with a USB cable, disconnect the cable from the printer.
Search Windows for programs and features, then click Programs and Features in the list of results.
In the list of installed programs, click your HP printer name, then click Uninstall or Yes.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software removal.
Restart the computer.
Reinstall the HP software
Turn on the printer.
If your printer is connected to the computer with a USB cable, disconnect the cable from the printer.
If prompted, select a method to identify your printer model, and then follow the on-screen instructions to go to the download page.
Click Download next to the full feature driver (recommended), or click Basic Drivers for other driver options.
Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know if that works.
Cheers.

I appreciate your effort.
I've followed instructions, uninstalled and re-installed but problem was not solved, installation is failed in the "Network Device imstallation step.
Printer is wireless, I was trying to connect it wirelessly.
Problem occured when trying to fix frequent off-line status of the printer.
I've also tried manual installation (https://support.hp.com/lamerica_nsc_carib-en/document/c04655208), after completing installation still, could not print - documents appear in the print queue with an error.
Thanks for your help.

Hi @apap1,
It looks like you were interacting with @sandytechy20, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out,
I'm the Riddle_Decipher & I'm at your service.
Let's perform a clean install to try and fix this issue. Here are the steps:
First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Deskjet printer entries and uninstall them.
Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
Restart your computer.
Click the bottom-left Start button on desktop, type device manager in the search box and tap Device Manager on the menu.
Once in device manager, click on the view tab in the top & choose “Show hidden devices”.
Then from the device manager list, check the entries under “Printer” – If there are any entries, please right click and choose “uninstall” – In the confirm device un-install pop-up, make sure you select the box which says “Delete the driver software for this device".
Also, check the entries under "printer queue" and "imaging devices" and repeat the same exercise. Delete any printer entry or any entry which says “Unknown device”.
Once done, close device-manger. Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (there is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
Open run again, type “%temp%” and press enter to get the temporary files. Delete all the files here. Skip the items which cannot be deleted.
Now restart your computer again.
Open the Run window again, type “services.msc” and press ok to get services window.
Scroll down to “Remote Procedure Call (RPC)” – right-click and go to properties. Make sure the service is started and startup type is “Automatic”.
Now scroll up and go to “Function Discovery Provider Host” – right-click and select properties – Change the startup type to “manual” and start the service.
Repeat the same exercise on “Function Discovery Resource Publication” as well.
Click on http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL63190/mp-152059-2/DJ4670_Full_WebPack_40.11.1122.exe and install the software.
Connect the USB cable only when prompted.
If you want to change from a USB to wireless network connection, use the Printer Setup & Software utility that installed with your printer software:
Search for the printer name, and then click the name of your printer.
The printer software opens.
Click Tools, and then click Device Setup & Software.
Select the option which says "Convert a USB printer to Wireless"
Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the installation.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Eagerly waiting for your response!
I hope you have a good day ahead,
And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.

Dear Jeet,
Thanks for your reply.
In the printui stage, i'm unable to completely delete the HP 4670.
When selecting 1 st option "can nor remove...type 3....the specified driver is currently in use"
When selecting 2nd option - can not delete package "hpygid17.inf (x64)".
It seems that there is a printer which is not completely removed, but not listed in Devices and Printers. This printer was addedd manually according to one of the recommended solutions provided by HP (connected via LPT1). I don't know how to remove it.
Should I deleted also Microsoft print to PDF and other drivers listed?
Thanks for your help.

Dear Jeet_Singh, I appreciate your effort.
I've managed to follow the steps recommended by you and to connect succesfuly via a USB.
When trying to "convert a USB printer to wireless printer", the installation process failed, the software could not find (again) the "Network Device".
As described previously, the PC (Lenovo Ideapad) connects just fine with wireless network and until recently wireless printing was working. Other devices (andorid phone, another PC ) connect wirelessly to the printer.
Thanks
