HP office jet pro 6970
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer as above has completely stopped working . I t gave up on scanning and then went on to print very poorly , and now not at all . I've repeatedly tried the print doctor to no avail . I've tried to direct contact HP but I get a message That I'm disbarred from their site from the information that I've supplied . I never even got as far as supplying anything !  In my "Devices and printers , this printer is shown as "installed " When I tried a full re-install of W10 drivers I got a progress arrow that continuously looped without bringing up the file even though I left it overnight . Desperation now . Help please !

No replies to my post as above . I suppose I will possibly be better with a full factory re-set and re-install .  Help with this please ?

Still having problems with printing . It won't print black now . It prints a test page with the 4 colour boxes OK but with no Black items . I just wonder if I have a faulty black cart. ?   I removed and re located the black cart  and It shows as half full now , exactly as it did before . I have this printer with HP  instant ink contract .  How can I contact them to get a replacement cartridge , if you agree this might be a solution ?

HP Recommended

Just to say that I've tried "clean printheads " several times ,but it doesn't help , in fact it doesn't clean the heads at all .
