When I want to run HP smart app, it has endless loading screen with spinning circle. Also app is freezing in that point and all I can do is close the app with task manadger.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

If you have not done so,

Try / Consider

The source of the problem might be a communication error or "block".

Suggested...

  • Start with a thorough Restart of the devices on your network.
  • Continue with a Reset of the HP Application.
  • Finally, if the Reset of the app is not enough, uninstall the app > Restart the computer > "Get" a new copy of the app.

Consider

Check / Run Windows Updates > Install any pending updates

Next,

Restart everything, including the router that controls your network.

Open and Check HP App

If the HP App opens but does not work or hangs partly open > Close the HP App.

If you cannot stop HP App, Restart the computer and log in > Do not restart HP App yet.

No Joy?

Reset HP Application - Windows

Next,

Reset the HP application - This action removes the app data.

Windows 10 -

Settings > Apps > Apps and Features

Windows 11 -

Settings > Apps > Installed Apps

Search and Find HP App in the apps list

Open Advanced options > Reset the app

Restart the computer and log in

Open HP App> Sign in > Add Printer(s)

Restart the computer and log in

“Get” a new copy of the HP application from the Microsoft Store

Open HP App> Sign in > Add Printer(s)
