Hello, My HP Office Jet Pro 8710 has error " must use new cartridges for setup"

Hello, My HP Office Jet Pro 8710 has the following error, " Must use new cartridges for setup" I replaced cartridges with the 952 XL and it worked fine for about a week then I got this error,  Please help

To assist you better, is that the exact error message you see on the printer screen?

Or, is the printer asking you to use the setup ink cartridges?

 

If it is the latter, we have to perform an OOB reset on the printer. 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
